HEWITT-TRUSSVILLE BAND BOOSTERS PRESENT
4th ANNUAL MISS HEWITT HUSKY PAGEANT
A fundraising event benefiting the HT middle school and high school bands
Participants must attend Trussville schools
SATURDAY, AUGUST 22, 12 NOON AT THE NEW HTHS AUDITORIUM
Each contestant will receive a tiara and trophy
9 Grade divisions, K5 through 8th grade
MISS HEWITT HUSKY and 2 alternates will be selected for each grade
additional awards included in entry fee:
prettiest smile, prettiest hair, best dressed, prettiest eyes
ENTRY FEE $60. 2nd CHILD IN THE SAME FAMILY $50, 3rd CHILD $40, 4th CHILD FREE
MOST PHOTOGENIC ENTRY: $10 PER PHOTO SUBMITTED
photo should be 4 x 6 or 5 x 7, not framed, with your name and grade (2009-2010) on the back
photo may be mailed with registration but MUST be received by Friday, August 21st
DOOR ADMISSION: $6 - ADULTS. $3 - STUDENTS. BELOW KINDERGARTEN - FREE
ONE ADULT ADMISSION FREE WITH EACH CONTESTANT
OPTIONAL PAGEANT INSTRUCTION -- $10
Individual instruction in stage presence, walking, pageant turns, etc.
Friday August 21, 4 PM - 7:30 PM (come and go) at the HTHS auditorium
(bring your pageant shoes to practice in!)
OUR GOAL: TO PROVIDE A FUN AND UPLIFTING PAGEANT EXPERIENCE
AND TO RECOGNIZE THE BEAUTY IN EACH PARTICIPANT

PAGEANT GUIDELINES
- Not everyone can be selected queen, but EVERY girl can look beautiful and act like a true princess. Please respect the decision of the judges.
- Suggested attire: formal gown for older grades, formal or "flower girl" type dress for younger grades. Heavy make-up is not necessary
- Sign in times: K - 2nd grade 11 AM, 3rd - 5th grade 11:30 AM, 6th - 8th grade 12 noon
- Awards for each grade will be given after the next older grade presents for judging
- PLEASE ALL CONTESTANTS go to the photographer for group pictures immediately after awards
- Kevin Cerisano (Impressions Portrait Design) will be available for photo packages
